Technical project manager

As a Technical Project Manager, you'll play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our clients, development team, and other stakeholders, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Your tasks

Your responsibilities will include:

Collaborating with clients/main contractors to define project requirements and guide them towards optimal solutions.

Liaising with UX/UI agencies to refine interface designs.

Managing the project backlog in JIRA or similar ticketing systems, and effectively communicating tasks to the development team.

Breaking down business requirements into technical tasks with the help of developers.

Leading a team of developers and testers, organizing standups, planning meetings, and internal development demos.

Designing APIs in collaboration with developers.

Assigning tasks to developers based on their individual skills and expertise.

Removing blockers for the team, such as resolving technical issues or securing necessary access rights.

Overseeing the testing process, ensuring all tickets are properly tested by the dedicated tester.

Demonstrating completed tasks to clients.

Managing deployments to production environments when required.

Reviewing time logs of team members.

Assisting with invoicing and tracking project budgets.

Negotiating new client requirements (change requests) and addressing reported issues.

Conducting initial investigations of client-reported bugs and relaying information to the team.

Estimating change requests with the help of developers and preparing proposals.

Participating in weekly planning sessions with company leaders and other team leads.

Optionally designing wireframes for internal admin interfaces.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you should possess:

Strong technical background with understanding of software development processes and best practices.

Excellent communication skills in both English and Hungarian, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders.

Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Basic understanding of UX/UI principles.

Familiarity with API design concepts.
